Construction Sales & Marketing Blog
Alltop.com We Must be Doing Something Right
We have been blogging for several months now. Whilst it has been an immensely rewarding activity, it has at points been difficult to determine whether we are achieving our original objectives.
Yet over this small blog's lifespan, there have been moments of affirmation, times when have known that we are publishing good material. Moments that stand out for me are our fist piece of feedback, our initial communication with Mark Buckshon of 'Construction Marketing Ideas' and the relationships that we have been able to been able to build with other notable bloggers.
Recently another such moment of affirmation happened. As of yesterday, our site has been listed on Alltop.com. Alltop is an impressive catalogue of blogs from around the world. It describes itself as an "online magazine rack" of popular topics. What this means practically is that Alltop has taken the leading blogs from around that world, categorised them by topic and has placed them all in one location so that you can get reach all the best content from the blogosphere in a matter of seconds.
Now, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of other blog directories, all claiming to provide the most useful collection of blogs on the web. But what makes Alltop more useful than the majority of them is that Alltop has made the information searching process very simple. Basically, Alltop import stories from top news websites and blogs for any given topic and displays the headlines of the five most recent stories. When you place the cursor over a headline, Alltop displays part of the story so that you can decide if you'd like to read it. If not, simply place your cursor over another blog to sample that one.
We are immensely grateful to Alltop for listing our little blog on their site. We would encourage those of you who are interested in reading more about construction sales, and sales in general to go to http://sales.alltop.com/, where we are listed. It nice to know that we are doing something right.
