A Quality Tool Will Repay You Time and Again

This is a guest post by Stuart Elsom of Bulldog Tools.
The secret to construction of any kind has got to be good build quality and durability. When you look around at the guys working on a site these days, you all too often see them working with inferior tools and kit. You can tell a tradesman by his tools, invest in a good quality tool and it will repay you time and again. That is where we are scoring with the Bulldog range of construction tools. Our spades and forks are solid forged from one piece at our factory in Wigan, England.
The advantage of forged tools is that they do not incorporate a weld of any kind, therefore they have no built in "weak spot". If you are handling aggregate or digging on a site all day long you want a tool that can be relied upon. Bulldog tools far exceed the British standard for bend strength, well in excess of 250lbs. More recently we are seeing growing interest in our Powerlite and Powerbreaker Insulated tools. Both ranges are made with fibreglass handles, which have insulating properties and are almost indestructible. The Powerbreaker range incorporates a rubber insulated collar to protect and insulate the user's hand. Each tool has a certificate of conformity and is marked for traceability. Tested to 10,000 volts, they are guaranteed to 100 volts. Just what you need when working in any environment where there may be hidden power cables. With increasing awareness of health and safety requirements these sort of tools are becoming a "must have" rather than a luxury.
